LTC/Skilled Nursing

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is forcing a number of changes in the healthcare market. In the early implementation stage the law indirectly impacted Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Wellbeing App

Provides simple emoticon expressions, e.g. happy, sad, angry, etc. The patient can click on the emoticon that best represents the way they feel. The app provides the ability for the patient to also add a textual explanation of their feelings.

When an emoticon is clicked, and after a patient adds the textual explanation, a snapshot of their vitals takes place. This allows the clinical and behavioral staff to evaluate what may be contributing to both positive and negative responses through the Wellbeing App.
